The Communication Technology Scholars Program focuses on communication in our society and, in particular, on the critical role of technology in today's world. Students might be interested in careers in any number of areas, including: news production, marketing management, engineering, and advertising/public relations. A key feature of the program is that students have the opportunity to experiment with cutting edge software (i.e. Final Cut Pro, Photoshop,etc.) to learn about video/audio editing, web development and layout design. Students interested in Communication Technology can be of any major and do not need to have prior experience using technology. All scholars will be helped to develop relevant technical skills and at the same time will learn to engage this dynamic field both inside and outside the classroom.
